PECKING
is one of the Flyingshears® techniques for One-length, Graduation and Layering. It uses mainly the tip of the scissors to cut hair. Movement is similar to a Woodpecker pecking a hole with its beak. Although each pecking cuts only a small portion of hair, the styling can be done quickly and evenly with the multiple tips of the scissors.
PARING
is another Flyingshears® cutting technique particularly for thinning, texturizing as well as layering. It uses the body part of the scissors to cut hair. The movement is similar to a Japanese warrior brandishing a sword, using the force of waist to drive the arm and wrist to move for achieving an ideal styling.

SHEAR TALENT by Bernice Young - 4/3/02 SanFrancisco weekly
On a recent Monday night, Bruce was attempting to take his hairstyling technique to new heights: the Guinness world record for cutting hair with the most pairs of scissors at once (eight). First, he blow-dried and styled her hair. “This is very exciting,” whispered his assistant, Vicky. “Because cutting hair dry, he can see, right away, the shape. ”Next, Choy selected his specialty scissors -- eight pairs welded together. He snipped away, rotating his wrist to cut from different angles. In what appeared to the untrained eye to be a random fashion, Choy chopped and sheared, squatting, then standing and leaning in, his head tilted. At calculated moments, Choy tousled sections of hair and cut from the ends -- what he dubs the “Flying Shears” effect. The session looked like some kind of avant-garde performance art. Occasionally he stepped back, like a sculptor, to assess his work, or to mop sweat from his brow with a towel...
SOS CUTTING
Using Scissors Over Scalp (SOS) technique, rather than Scissors Over Comb, you can achieve a more natural and softline, not a post-clippered type of look.
1. Rest shears over palm or scalp when cutting.
2. Hold scissors straight pointing towards scalp, then open and close the blades to cut.
3. Move a single scissors blade close to scalp, cut or trim hair according to head shape.
*In all methods, open blades by holding the thumb still while moving the ring fingers.
Multiple 8 scissors
Bruce Choy (USA) successfully styled a head of hair using eight pairs of scissors in one hand, controlling each pair independently at his salon Flyingshears in San Francisco, California, USA on 11 March 2002 GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS LTD.

Graduation and Shaggy Bob
A little more graduation and a little more shaggy for year of 2010 BOB style.
No clip, No comb and No sectioning.
The process eliminates the use of a comb and guesswork from measuring wet hair. Enabling the designer to visualize the evolving shape of the cuts on the head.
